Our Pricing Promise Review
NM Insurance previously completed a review of the way certain discounts were described and applied to some insurance policies.
The review identified discrepancies between information provided to some customers and the way their insurance premiums were calculated. We apologised to affected customers and undertook a remediation program to provide refunds where amounts were owed.
Our customer remediation program
We have now completed our program of identifying and proactively contacting customers affected by the Pricing Promise Review.
The review related to certain policies held during the period 17 July 2020 to 11 February 2025.
Our online refund form has now closed. However, if you previously received correspondence from us regarding a Pricing Promise refund and have not yet received or resolved your refund, our team can still assist you.

SGL may receive a professional services fee (PSF) from insurers, premium funders and underwriting agencies such as NM Insurance (Partner) for access to regulatory and compliance support; marketing and communications; data insights; and access to technology platforms. The PSF is an agreed amount between SGL and the relevant Partner, usually annually. The PSF is not determined by the volume of the business that the Steadfast Network brokers place, nor is the amount of the PSF known to the Steadfast Network Brokers, so it is not able to influence recommendations to their clients.
NM Insurance may have access to shared services from SGL, including: compliance tools; procedures; manuals and training; legal; HR banking; and group purchasing arrangements. These services are funded by SGL, subsidised by SGL or SGL receives a fee for them.
